Rooibos Tea
Rooibos is a naturally caffeine-free herbal tea made from the Aspalathus linearis plant, grown in the Cederberg region of South Africa. It has a reddish-brown colour and a mild, earthy taste. Rooibos is low in tannins and high in antioxidants, making it a popular alternative to black or green tea. It can be consumed hot or cold and is suitable for all age groups, including young children.
Green Rooibos Tea
Green Rooibos is the unfermented version of traditional rooibos. It is heated and dried immediately after harvest to prevent oxidation, which helps retain more of the plant’s natural antioxidants. The taste is lighter, with fresh, slightly grassy notes. Like regular rooibos, it is naturally caffeine-free and suitable for everyday consumption.
Honeybush
Honeybush is a naturally sweet, caffeine-free herbal tisane made from the leaves of the Cyclopia plant, indigenous to South Africa. Known for its smooth, honey-like flavour and gentle floral notes, honeybush is rich in antioxidants and often enjoyed as a soothing beverage with numerous health benefits.
Buchu
Round-leaf Buchu, a member of the citrus family of plants (Rutaceae), is endemic to the mountain slopes in the Cederberg Region of the Western Cape. Similar to Rooibos, it forms part of the Fynbos species, the natural vegetation of the Cape Floral Kingdom.
